Interchange failed.. but its not enabled?

I keep getting emails from my new CPanel box about every 5 minutes saying:

interchange failed @ Sat May 8 14:26:00 2004. A restart was attempted automagicly

However i have disabled interchange from the 'Service Manager' function in WHM

why is CPanel telling me its failed when its disabled? I have tried rebooting
