NFS error!!!
I have configured nfs on the server.
I made entries in /exports file ..
Now to make changes active when I typed
/etc/init.d/portmap restart
I got this error:
pmap_getmaps rpc problem: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection reset by peer
Stopping portmapper: [FAILED]
Starting portmapper: [ OK ]
Then I checked status of service then I got the error:
as:
portmap dead but subsys locked
Then I tried to reload the service I got the error of above.
Can anybody know the problem?
Is this a firewall problem?
