FrontPage error

I open my web directly from the server, and then try to edit a web page, When I press "save" I got the following error:

"Server error: Cannot close file ".myfile.htm.tmp"."

This problem can be solved if I unistall and reinstall the frontpage extension, however, from doing so, I will loss all of the web navigation and reports..etc..

anybody any suggestion about this problem?
