image problems w/ apache 2
I'm a bit of a noob and I'm having a problem with images.
Running Apache 2.0.49 on winXP box. Have simple page containing 1 image (as index page). Problem is image will not display in any browser visiting my site (have tried IE / Mozilla), nor will they display on the server itself (with localhost as url) - I just get the little red X / broken image icon. I'm pretty sure the images are not corrupted as I can view them in browsers/graphics programs when the image (files) are local to that machine, and also if I open the index page straight from the HD (so I'm also sure the image url / locations are right).
I'm feeling a bit daft right now, so I'd appreciate any advice.
