RedHat: Why am I using swap memory?
I run some long running backgroud processes, and I start seeing my swap memeory being used for no reason (plenty of ram), and the swap mem usage starts crawling up, and pretty soon the system gets very very slow.
Why is happening, and what can I do about it. The only recourse I have found so far is to reboot!
