I'm looking for a hardware firewall and want to know what you guys might suggest. This will be my first time colocating servers (one database server and one web server), but unfortunately I'm not a security expert. I'm looking for something fairly easy (no, not FreeBSD) so that it won't take me a few days or weeks to learn all of the ins and outs.
- How are the Cicso PIX's? 501? 506?
- What are some others I might want to look into?
- Please give me one reason the Linksys router I use at home is a bad idea! I know it is, but already know how to use it!
Thanks for any advice. I've been reading all day and still don't have a security starting point. (sigh)
