Is my plan good or bad

Hello,

I have recently transfered 80 hosting accounts to a new server (as the old server was very slow), however I had a thought about perhaps having the SQL hosted on our second server. (With just a gamingserver on it).

The new server has Cpanel/WHM.

Does this make sense, is it a good idea, is it possible?
