R=fail_remote_domains: unrouteable mail domain

i cant send email to my server's own email addresses and also to all hosted account's email domain. Pls help.. i get this error on
/usr/sbin/exim -bt info@myowndomain.com

.......R=fail_remote_domains
unrouteable mail domain.

i did

/scripts/exim4
/script/mailperm
/scrpts/updateuserdomain

but still no internal email. any directions will help.
