Cpanel & apache custom compile from sources
Current I'm using WHM/CPanel to recompile apache when new versions are released, but I'd really like to do a custom compile of apache so I can apply some patches to the source code first ( http://aap.sourceforge.net/ ).
What I wondered was if anyone has done anything similar and also use Cpanel, and if it creates any problems? I'd preferably like apache to be compiled as close to the way CPanel compiles it as possible, with the exception of applying the aforementioned patches.
Any input/information/experiences would be fantastic, even if not specifically related to compile apache with those paches (e.g, custom sources compile with lingerd + using cpanel).
