This has to be the most painful learning curve to date. I finally find SWAMP application to install on Windows XP the PHP, Apache and My SQL. The test page is correct until I try to use Dreamweaver MX 2004. It appears that I must configure My SQL to Windows IIS or SQL instead of Unix. If I change to Windows format and then try to upload to Unix based server from my webhost, won't it fail during the upload being a different SQL database format? I thought Dreamweaver would be a good editor to create HTML and PHP code.
