named not starting properly
I have two IPs on my server. One -- let's call it 'X' -- is for one of my domains (so I can have an SSL cert) and the other -- let's call it -- Y -- is for all other domains on the server. In the unfortunate event that the server requires a reboot, only domains on the Y IP address resolve. My other, single, domain on X will not until I restart named.
When I type the 'service named restart' command at the prompt, it returns a failure on stopping named with a 'rndc connect failure' error, but then shows an OK on restarting named. After that, everything resolves as it should.
As far as I can tell, this only happens after a server reboot, and restarting named always fixes it.
Any thoughts?
