Boost linux 'max files' without a reboot?
I currently run a IRC network, and am wanting to hold more than the usual 1024 users.
By chance does anyone know if it's possible to boost the limits w/o having to re-compile the kernel? I'm not one for remote kernel rebuilds @_@
