Supermicro 5013C-MT Server and Redhat 9

I just picked up one of these servers and got it in the other day. It's a 1U box with the P4SCT+ motherboard. Added 4 x 80GB SATA drives and proceeded to install Redhat 9. Well, I was able to install redhat pretty smoothly, using the software raid feature to run my drives in RAID5 and RAID0. I used the driver provided on Supermicro's website along with the "linux dd" option.

But here is the problem. I installed YUM to update my system, and that worked fine, but I was not able to update the kernel because the marvell SATA controller driver module "could not be found". After restarting the system, I was greeted with a kernel panic stating it could not mount the hard drives, but this was with the original kernel that was working before.

Anyway, this pretty much blows. Is there a way I can use the required RAID driver with the updated kernel? I can't imagine supermicro selling too many of these servers if they can't even run an up-to-date version of linux. Supermicro 5013C-MT Server and Redhat 9
