windows "services"
Being a hardcore linux freak,I have recently been unpleasantly exposed to the world of windows and the freakish concept of "services".
I am haivng a tough time finding answers to this question:
Is there ANY POINT WHATSOEVER to running programs as a "service", besides:
-start on boot
-start as userX
-get auto-restart functionality
Whats the point? Thanks in advance. I dont mean to start a flamewar here, but this is frustrating me.
