Moving from Hosting to VPS without loosing mails??.
I wish to move my account from my current hosting provider Lunarpages to my new VPS but is there a way that I can do that without loosing mails?
My webpage is not yet actife so it is not important if it is off for 2 day's during propagation.
I have set-up already my own nameserver IP's and they are already propagated so I can start the move.
So here is my question, is it possible that I change only the primary nameserver DNS from Lunarpages to my new primary nameserver dns and when the primary dns is propagated, than I change the secondary DNS aswell.
I think that I have read somewhere that like this it is possible to receive the mails at my old server during the primary DNS is propagated and than I can receive the mails at my new server during the secundary DNS is propagated.
Can anyone please confirm me that this works or if it can be done in another way.
