fedora core2 doesn't support scsi well?
# /sbin/hdparm -Tt /dev/sda/dev/sda:
Timing buffer-cache reads: 992 MB in 2.00 seconds = 495.83 MB/sec
BLKFLSBUF failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device
Timing buffered disk reads: 330 MB in 3.02 seconds = 109.29 MB/sec
BLKFLSBUF failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device
root@r1 [/proc]# /sbin/hdparm -Tt /dev/sdb
I've been getting this error and server down every few hours, no logs no nothing.
According to DC, this is an issue related to RH not supporting late model SCSI drives and devices, therefore downgrading from FC2 to RH9 would not work.
Any suggestions?
