Need som Guru help and advice
I have had a VP Server with this hosting company for about a year now.. pretty much trouble free.. a couple hickups. I was told that they were moving the servers or something..
The Problem: They assigned new ip's for my main domain. I had my registrar change them that afternoon.. The hosting company turned my old server off the next day before they had time to propagate and I was down for a full day.. ALL SITES..
When they finally replied back. They told me they were working on it.. Had all kinds of problems.. Most sites ended up being down for three days..
Here is what is happening now.
I have NEVER been behind on a payment with this company on the VP. I have been what I would like to think is a good customer for them as a whole.
Ok as of now.. 4 Days later..
(1) Mysql is on and off.
(2) No Cpanel.. The weird thing here is that I was told by the hosting company that cpanel was installed.. but when I go to the ip addy for my server, it just show the standard Apache page.
(3) When my whm is up.. which is about 1/3 of the time. It does not list any of my accounts in the "List"
(4) They added all of my accounts manually, and I do not know the new passwords so noone has access to ftp..
(5) Email is down and has been for almost 4 days now.
When I can check whm and go to system status.. it shows "bind" failed as well as Exim and I cannot remember off hand.. but whatever the shopping cart is..I get a failure on that one as well.
Any suggestions on any of this? Is there anything here that can be fixed by me when I can get to my whm? I can ssh into the server.. but AM NOT too familiar with it..
Then they double billed me for the month today.. wow! what a world..
Now my dog bit me and my wife wants a divorce.. ok, well just kidding about the dog and wife..
Any thoughts?
