Problems with Exim

I had before all this happen Exim 4.24 + (MailScanner 4.30 & Clam AV 0.70 installed manually).

After the update to release 5, expecting all should go fine with just a few tuneups, instead now i'm unable to send or receive emails or my clients for that mather.

Mailscanner and ClamAv have already been uninstalled, i've a opened ticked on Cpanel for this situation with no resolution at the moment, after 4 days.

Hoping any of you can give me a hand.

I've looked and /var/run/sophie doesn't exist, and i'm not sure what is it supost to be. Any help ?
