re-install of db4

I have a server running fedora. unfortunately the package db4 has been removed from it. I am a novice at linux and seek assistance.
The problems experienced as a result are; DNS records emptied, CPanel errors (MySQL problems).
Anyone that is able to help please do so. I can offer free webhosting, but i suspect most people will have this available to them as it is. If i can do anything in return then please do let me know.
I have also found that there is a problem with accessing SSH through Putty and cpanel.
