getting scanned too frequently
one of my server is sending me at least 20 Brute Force Warning email, i saw ppl are trying many different usernames/password/IPs to access my server, lucky i have BFD installed and blocked them.
am i safe forever? my rootkit scan is showing me some warning such as
Checking `bindshell'... warning, got bogus unix line.

not infected
what else can i do to prevent root accessed by others? i want to safe my servers.
