Windows: Where Bandwidth Is Going?
Hi all. I have a server where everything has been working just fine until 1:00 AM Monday morning (Sunday/Monday) and from MRTG I'm noticing bandwidth took a quick jump up to 2 or 3 times what it typically is on a very high peak time.Bandwith usage has been sporadic, jumping, declining, etc ever since.
What I can do on a Windows machine to see what might be going on? Everything looks normal on the server. Only the correct services are running, the only ports open are the ports I have specified. (Only Remote Desktop and HTTP via Internet Connection Firewall that is)
Is there a way to see where the bandwidth is being used, for what and where it is going?
Any other steps I can't think of to see what might be the problem?
It could be a bot crawling the site (not that I can tell from server logs) or that we just got some massive natural search engine listings (not that I can tell from the server logs either), but I'm completely confused!
Thanks for any advise.
Andrew
