Redundant DNS Setup Help
I currently run ns1. and ns2. off the same server, however I am wanting to move them off, and only keep one on the current server and put the 2nd off network.
The server running them now has cPanel...
What would be the easiest way to move ns2. to a differant server off my network with no downtime, and no changes needed by my clients.
What would I have to do? I was thinking getting a friend to let me run a nameserver for me on his server since I doubt anyone would mind considering that it doesnt use much resources, but how would I set this up? What would be needed? Is there a step-by-step document someplace? Basically everything detailed by step so I dont screw anything up...
I'd also prefer adding ns3. and ns4. on 2 other differant networks, and im assuming it would be the same process as moving ns2. and keep it in-sync with ns1?
