Anyone have experience with load-balanced/clustered Windows 2003 servers?
Hello all,We are looking for possible consultants that will be integral in the development and installation of our new network/server setup. We are a shared webhost that is looking to take the next step from standalone servers for web only, sql only, mail only, and dns only to load-balanced web servers, clustered sql servers, fail-over or load-balanced mail servers, and high quality dns services(possibly in multiple geographical locations).
What we are looking for is someone who is confident in their experiences with similar setups and can help us make informed decisions about what to do. We of course are looking to using grade A hardware, top notch network gear, great backup schemes, etc. and know the costs of doing this.
On the Linux side we don't need as much help as we have staffers that has been deeply involved in setting up these types of solutions before in the past.
If you have any ideas to throw out there, but you are not necessarily an expert or consultant, they are also welcome. We want to be able to offer true 99.97 or higher uptime, not including local ISP issues for our clients or some sort of natural disaster.
I look forward to seeing your ideas and talking to possible companies who can help us.
