ZoneEdit & "Action Cancelled" at Work
Both my co-worker and I own domain names and have dynsite set up to update our dynamic ip's on zoneedit. The issue is that A LOT of people get an "Action Cancelled" message when they attempt to access the page at work. However, when accessing the domain names from personal networks (ie home cable modems, dsl or dialup), the pages display fine.In my personal case, when I turn off my company's proxy, I get the "Action Cancelled" message too after the browser spins its wheels for a minute or two. However, I'm able to access all other websites like yahoo, msn, and the like. When I turn the proxy back on, viola, I can access my domain. However, I cannot instruct family and friends how to set up their computers at work since who knows if they even have a proxy.
The webserver settings are such:
IIS on XP Pro port 81
ww2<dot>domain<dot>com contains IP address via ZoneEdit
www<dot>domain<dot>com points to ww2<dot>domain<dot>com:81 via ZoneEdit
Does anyone know why this might be happening and how to fix it?
