running an exchange server from home
Hello all,OK I hope this is in the right forum. here is what I want to do:
I have a server I will be buying a windows server license for so I can run it as my companies exchange server. Then I will place it in my companies office and connect it to the net. So remote employees can login where ever they are and view/add to the shared calender etc.
Here is my question. Is it possible to run this server with just a sdsl line or dsl line if it would only be accessed by 3 or 4 users and most likly only one or 2 of these users on at the same time?
Is this do-able if so what would I need besides the server, Windows license and of course a connection (anything else)?
Also what connection speed would be best with out over doing it considering we are a small group just wanting a central place we can all have a calender and share contacts.
thanks
I know their are places that host exchange for l;ike $10 a month but just thinking it would be more stabl;e and secure for us to host it ourselves.
Thanks
