Question about High Resources usage
I had an account with a 'hosting Company' from almost 9 months
and their admin have emailed me couple of times warning me that :
my website has been using resources heavily and causing the server load to spike to uncomfortable levels, depriving other clients of their service level and resources. Below are a few examples of my recent usage details that the admin sent mt:
"account name" 4.18 15.33 8.1
Top Process %CPU 50.9 /usr/bin/php index.php
Top Process %CPU 47.3 /usr/bin/php index.php
Top Process %CPU 49.1 /usr/bin/php index.php
the admin said that the ideal CPU usage per hosting account is below 0.5 out of a maximum of 1.0.
Now my website is a Post-nuke CMS website a normal one,
the website average statistics would be:
daily visits : 900
daily vistied Pages: 4600
daily hits:63000
.. files : 29000
avg. bandwidth per moth: 29 giga
is there's any idea why such High Resources usage is happening ?
I really need your opinions
