help with DA and server hostname, first time doing this
is my first time using it. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to setup my
servers hostname and DNS... this is what I want to do:
I have the domain xcage.net and would like ns1.xcage.net and
ns2.xcage.net (I already registered the nameservers and updated their
IP to the ones on my machine). but I'd like to create a account in
DirectAdmin to use xcage.net since it will be the main site.... so in
the "Server Settings", am I supposed to put xcage.net for servers
hostname, and ns1.xcage.net ns2.xcage.net, or am I supposed to make
the hostname a unique name like "box1.xcage.net" or "server.xcage.net"?
right now the fields say:
352xx.ds.nac.net for hostname
ns1.ds.nac.net
ns2.ds.nac.net
