Transfer limit problem

This is no doubt a stupid question, but I've just got a new server and am running the WHM account transfer script to get all my data across from the old server.

The problem is that the old server appears to be limiting the transfer to around 60k/s when I know it's capable of far more and I know I've never set such a limit.

The new server isn't the problem (just downloaded test files from other locations at over 900k/s) and the old server will also download files at many times 60k/s, but any outgoings connections appear to be limited.

The question is: what is likely to limit this transfer rate and if it's a setting somewhere how can I remove it? Moving a few GBs of data at 60k/s is not what I call fun :/
