Um, this might sound kind of strange but I am trying to backup some accounts via ssh using the pkgacct script for WHM and I have a .tar file for one account that is about 4gb and it wont show up! I can see it in WinSCP or by typing ls in SSH but I cannot see it in FTP or access it on http in order to download the tarball itself!
Is there some sort of threshold size tar files can be before the magic server gnomes hide it? lol I know that with the zip command one directory can be compressed over many archives, is this possible also with the tar command? Thanks for your help with this odd problem...
