What hosting vendors offer VPN(s) to hosted domain?

What hosting vendors offer VPN(s) to hosted domain? Any suggestions or recommendations? I have talked to one virtual-private-server vendor at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showcases/1/0.html , and they said they were unable to handle this requirement (but we are in continued discussion about other options).

If a VPN is not feasible, are there alternative, suitable options?

I'm looking for a level of security "above" web SSL, ssh, and the like.

The background for my problem

I want to offer a shared web-server and data repository between 2 companies working on a common project. One option I'm considering doing (because of the IT and political challenges at each company) is to create an external domain separate from the 2 company's private networks, host the services there.

In order to have each organization feel secure with this date, I suspect I will need a virtual-private-network (VPN) secured site/system.

One company uses Cisco's VPN Client version 4.0.3 (A) to allow employees to currently access their own, internal VPN. I was hoping to leverage this same software client to access a VPN at an external site as per above.
