virus detected, ftp not working

Ok,

I am stuck on this one.

In cpanel file manager when a person trys to upload a file it comes back with virus detected/found check config file blah blah blah. I sent a support ticket into Tp to ask about it, if they have encountered any problems like this. They replied with this.

(********-09/15/04-06:10):
Cpanel uses clam antivirus to scan for viruses. If it is reporting every file as a virus, then there may be a problem with clam antivirus, or the connector which cpanel uses in order to communicate with clam antivirus. If you wish to use the antivirus feature, you may need to reinstall clam antivirus and/or the connector. If you would prefer to not use clam antivirus, make sure the connector is uninstalled.

i mean wtf? I asked if they could maybe fix it, instead they give me a random answer.

I am asking this, does anyone know how to fix this virus found problem ( There is no virus in the files i have checked my self ).

Also, we have a problem with FTP. When a person uploads a file onto the server the upload transfer rate goes down way as low when it was normally high. Should i reinstall the FTP daemon?

Thanks!
