can't get to my server

I have had a self-managed, dedicated server at AIT since June. Until today, I have had few problems. I required a reboot, once, but it was my fault and AIT rebooted it fairly quickly.

Today, my server suddenly just lost all connectivity. I was logged into it and did not notice and slowdown - it just suddenly dies. I can't get to it through any protocol.

I sent AIT a reboot request and waited about three hours before getting an email stating that it was done. I tried to connect and had no luck.

I sent AIT a second request, and also asked about my support options because I will probably need some help. So far (7 hours later) I have not received anything from them.

I know AIT is not popular here, and I know I need to move my server. I got a low price ($49.95 + Ensim) at the time, and that was important. As I increase revenue, I plan on moving. So no need to point out that to me.

Has anyone has a similar experience with AIT? What can I expect to happen? AIT has expensive support options, so I may end paying a lot to get some help from them.
