Flexi Scanner errors?

Recently I have been gettng Flex Scanner errors on my servers which shuts the whole server down until I manually shut them down and reset them.

Does anyone know why would this happen?
Does it have to do with the CHMOD and CHOWN values of the files beening created? Because all files that are created are to the httpd user...
