Name Server help !!
I need some help... I have a dedicated sever, Im using WHM and I want to point my-domain.com to my dedicated server.
At "Main >> Server Setup >> Manage Nameserver IPs" I have assigned 2 IP addesses to two Name Servers... ns1.my-domain.com and ns2.my-domain.com, respectively.
Is that all I need to do to create the two name servers? Im I missing something?
On the Control Panel, where I have my domain registered, I have pointed my domain to these name servers, mentioned above (ns1.my-domain.com and ns2.my-domain.com).
When I do a ping to "ns1.my-domain.com" or "ns2.my-domain.com", it doesnt return anything
What else do I need to do?
Is there any documentation besides the Cpanel / Whm help, which I can refer to ?
