Weird email-cpanel behaviour
I am running RH7.3 with cPanel....
Here's what's happening:
One of my clients wants to create and email - let's say - abc@domain.com.
When he goes to the cpanel and creates the email, he gets back an error saying that the email address cannot be created because it already exists... yet, when all the email accounts are listed in the control panel, abc@domain.com is not there!?
I checked the /etc/aliases file... but there's not even one mail alias...
How can that be? Has anyone ever had this problem? I tried to fix the mailboxes (from whm) but it didn't do a thing.
How does cPanel manage email addresses??
