Understanding "load"
How is "load" calculated? ( On Linux )
What's a typically high/medium/low value? Does it work like that? Is it simply a percentage?
With 1.1 load at the moment I know im fine, but I want to be able to analyse things as load increases so i'm ahead of any problems!
It sounds like quite a newbie question, but google gives no answers as it's not an easy thing to search for, and in 5 years of working in commercial unix load has never been a problem!
