Help configuring server
I have just purchased a second hand Dell 2450, it has 2 x 1ghz processors, 2gig RAM and 3 x 39 gig hard drives scsi.
The is no operating system installed on it and I am wanting to setup Windows 2000 server on it. I have been on the Dell site and downloaded the relevant documents, but they don't seem to help me regarding setting up the server with an operating system. When I start up the server with the Win 2k disk in the CD it starts to load the files then says cannot find hard drive, the 3 hard drives are all lit up indicating they are installed. The server also has a RAID controller installed. Could anyone help me with this installation or let me know where I might obtain some info that will help me install. This is the first web server I have ever been involved with so I really need a step by step process.
