Point MX to another location
Here is my situation. I have ran a search but most are talking about running backup mail servers. I'm sorry if this has been asked a lot.
I have a client who wants to setup hosting, but wants to run his own exchange server. Now when reading some of these threads all I need to do is poing the MX record to where the email server is. Now if he has a static IP do I just point to that? Or does he need to make some type of DNS changes as well? If so what changes does he need to make, I know his ISP does his DNS.
Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated.
By the way I'm running RHE, w/ WHM/CPanel.
