root user display twice, how can i fix it?

Hi guys,

The server status in oscommerce shopping cart alwasys display 1
user in SSH, so i log in shell using root, and typed who, and i got two displays of myself:

abc pts/0 Oct 1 14:36 (68-174-93-91.rr.com)
abc pts/1 Oct 1 14:29 (68-174-93-91.rr.com)


what is pts/0 and pts/1?

how can i fix it?
