HELP----How to PHP, mySQL, and myphpadmin

I now have installed:

Abyss
php
mySQL
myphpadmin

I've never used any of the programs. All I know is how to access myphpadmin.

It's time to that I learn these things. All I have ever used was FrontPage.

The question.

Where and how and what can I do to begin taking advantage of these programs?
