server performance on windows 2000 low CPU , but site run slows
I have 3 sites hosted on my server , this 3 site just run exactly the same scripts
but the concurrently user on each is different , the most is 60 user on site A ,and the least user is 30 users on site C , this is a reading taken on when the site A is on its peak
the problem now is , if site A has 60 users the site slows down to process script using about 1.9 ~ 4 secs ..... but on the other site C ( with 30 users concurrently ) ...it is still only using 0.09 ~ 0.01 secs
When this scenario happens i checked the CPU and it is below 30% , why does this happen ? why does site C not affected by the number of user on site A ?
I do not have any connection limits or CPU throttleling on any of the sites , they are free to use whatever they can consume , but why does they not consume the CPU power ?
the scripts are on ASP and running MS SQL from a dedicated box lan to each other
can some1 please explain
