It looks like I need to install Tomcat, because I want to do a certain thing with Cocoon. These packages are both "Java Servlets" which I know nothing about. I'm wondering if I can install them on a shared hosting account, I can't tell from the documentation whether or not this is possible. If it's possible for Tomcat, Cocoon will run inside of it I guess.
Does anyone know about how big a performance hit Cocoon is? Aside from whether or not it's possible to run Tomcat and Cocoon on a shared hosting account, I'm wondering if that won't gobble more than my fair share of resources on the server.
