Moving from Interland to 1and1 Windows Hosting
When we first setup the site on Interland, the creators uploaded the database file (to the "database" folder) and all we had to do was Create a DSN connection between the database and the files (I guess).
Now, I've moved to 1and1 and can find no such option for making that DSN connection or perhaps there is another reason this is not working, I don't know Windows hosting is beyond my limited abilities. The 1and1 FAQ's have no information on already created databases just on how to create a new webbased database.
I hope this is a simple fix, I have been on hold with 1and1 waiting to speak to someone for 20 minutes now listening to very soft rock.
I have already moved DNS to 1and1.
