Very basic but annoying Outlook problem
Hi all,Probably not exactly the right place to be asking for this answer but I have researched the net and been unable to find the answer to this.
I was testing sending an email with request read and delivery receipts with MS Outlook 2002.
My ISP has recently banned outgoing emails via smtp. Now this email that I was trying to send is stuck in the 'system' and I can not flush it out. It never gets through to my SMTP server because of the ban so it gets stuck and I cant flush it or physically delete it.
The annoying outgoing 'auto reply' message is not anywhere physical to be seen. ie. Not in the Outbox or anywhere else I can see.
I have done the obvious stuff like turn on and off Outlook, the PC etc. I have even cancelled the email account through Outlook and reopened a new one but it is just stuck in a loop somewhere. I guess I could try and cancel the sales@... email account via the control panel and reopen. Will try this tomorrow actually. Didnt do that.
Has anyone got any other clues???
