A mean trick and curious how it was done

There's a nationally syndicated cartoon that published a domain name. Obviously, at the time the cartoon was drawn, the domain didn't exist. The day before the cartoon was published, somebody purchased the domain and parked it at sonic.net with a redirect to a popular animal sex site.

What I'm interested in is knowing how the person was able to register the domain without providing any any valid info.

The domain name is coyotepac.org

The info on the registration all looks like this:

Is there some place else to look for the valid info on who bought the domain?
