ns3, ns4 nameserver question...
At present I am using ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com as the nameservers of the first server and ns3.mydomain.com, ns4.mydomain.com as the nameservers for the second server.
Mydomain.com actually uses ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com as the nameservers. In order to use ns3.mydomain.com and ns4.mydomain.com I have an A entry for these domains on ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com.
I must add that I registered ns3.mydomain.com and ns4.mydomain.com as a nameserver with my registrar entering the IP of these nameservers there.
Now I wonder: If ns1 and ns2 go down will the nameserver entries for ns3 and ns4 be retrieved from my registrar where I entered their IP addreess ? Or will ns3 and ns4 go down as well as they use ns1 and ns2 as the nameservers ?
