Wi-Fi Hacking

I've read alot about it.

What are the programs used to scan for networks? Open, and Encrypted.


What sort of equipment would one need?


And once one had found an open network what would one do then to surf the internet? Wi-Fi Hacking


And only your MAC address can be found? Correct? Or does your system name or anything else like that get broadcast? Can your positiion be located via GPRS aswell? If not how else could one be located? Obviously you'd be within a few hundred metres.
