Dual Processors P3's?

I got some new servers - 3 1U boxes with Tyan Thunder LE S2510 Motherboards . Each has a single P3 CPU

I want to add another CPU to each of these servers to give me 3 dual processor boxes but the Tylan website seems to be suggesting that I need 512Kb cache in order to support dual processors - is this correct?
