SSL- What kind do I need
We have a small website with an online store. I purchased an SSL certification a year ago but don't remember where I got it from. But ev1servers and freeSSL all sound pretty darn familiar.
Anyway, I'm getting emails that it is expiring and I need to renew it. I've seen prices all over the place from $20 - $150 at freessl and others. Our site is hosted with RoadRunner Business Class and I know that I request the CSR key from them to provide to the place I get the Cert from. But how do I know what I really need? Can I go with the $20 option at FreeSSL, or the $50 at ev1 or the $150 at freessl? Just not sure how to figure that out.
THe SSL portion is specifically to work with our store for accepting payments and such. Out payments get processed through VeriSign but I don't need the SSL from them because they are usually too expensive.
Any info would be great.
