Hi folks, i am a client of a host, looking for a way to allow me to restore my own db's and yet allow my host to maintain security of their SQL Server install. It is frustrating to be able to everything to a db, code or directly, yet not restore a db. Since i test on my local dev machine, there must be a way to restore the .bak file to the remote server where i am hosted without having to await the kind and generous hosts to arrive at work and handle it for me.
Any suggestions at all would be most appreciated! Thanks kindly, drew..
